Tikashi's wisdom has provided me with the opportunity to

During the 36 years of my career in Marketing I was driven to

Hi from Helen. I'm a Reiki practitioner and I use the Treasures
from Tikashi cards after each client has their Reiki treatment. As
the client is resting on the table sipping a glass of water, I
present them with the cards and they choose one. I suggest they ask
"What do I need today?", choose a card and then they ask, "How will
I do that?" and choose another. The cards are ALWAYS appropriate
for that person's state of being. I also use them during my Reiki
classes for inspiration and to provide a focus for the weekend
course. They are great!

"When I ask myself, 'What has working with Tikashi for the better
part of a decade done for me and my life ?', I am confronted by the
fact that the question is not a simple one to answer.
....There are so many things that are an integral part of my life
now, that have stood the test of time again and again, that I once
scoffed at and refused to consider as being possible all those
years ago.
....Many of these things have had the most profound affect on me,
that including them has transformed both the direction and the
quality of my life, that I would find it very difficult indeed to
imagine how my life would have gone without them.
....Imagine a life where I still continually forgot that I had
choices in moments where I feel powerless, angry or afraid, and
could not transform them into moments of opportunity where I could
wonder at the possibilities that open up out of them.
....Imagine a life where I still frequently struggled futilely with
bouts of deep depression and loneliness, having no hope for the
future and no loving support around me to use to climb out of
them.
....Imagine a life where I still tried to work everything out in my
head, to fit everything neatly into it's little pigeon hole.
Imagine if I still fought to control the situations &
conversations around me to fit the square pegs that life throws me
into the round holes of the way I think things should be.
....Instead of following my heart, flowing freely with the current
of life, assured by a trust that has compounded year after year,
steered by an intuition that has developed into a precision
instrument, and accompanied by the most cherished companion I can
imagine : myself.
....Imagine if life still seemed a pointless struggle to me and if
I still believed that someday, one day, when I had passed a certain
number of tests, learnt a certain number of lessons, felt a certain
amount of pain, that my life would begin, that I would be "past all
this", and things would begin to work for me. Instead of having a
life that is happening now, that I love that fills me with joy and
wonder at how amazing it is, and even then inspires me to even
more.
....And then, imagine the effects of all of these things put
together, the burden of them on my shoulders, the domino effect on
all my life choices, the sapping of my life energy. And try to
imagine how my life would've turned out. I'm not sure that I can.
And I'm not sure that I really want to.
...........What I can do, is imagine a future where everyone who
wishes to, knows these things too, knows them deep in their heart,
with an unshakeable faith that comes only through personal
experience. And then what a world we will live in ! We will walk
softly upon the earth, and with each other, and maybe, just maybe,
with ourselves."
